Fans already know that Christina Aguilera is working on new music but, as it turns out, it could be that she's planning another Spanish-language album. The singer herself hints about the possibility in a new interview with Latina magazine.

To promote the second season of The Voice, Christina sat down with Latina for a talk, agreeing to open up on topics she wouldn't normally talk about.

Among them, whether she's willing to reconcile with her estranged father, how she likes to spend her spare time, working on The Voice and, of course, her music plans.

She doesn't say when, but Christina is definitely not against doing another Spanish-language album, her second so far.

In fact, one is even in the pipeline as we speak.

“All I know is no one can tell me I’m not a proud Latina woman… I dove headfirst into a Spanish-language album for that reason and I’m planning another one even though I don’t speak the language. I’m sure that doesn’t sit well with some people,” the diva says.

Also on the topic, Christina reveals that she's growing very tired of being told that she's not Latina – or that she's not Latina enough.

“I’ve dealt with that my whole life. I don’t speak the language fluently. And I’m split right down the middle, half Irish and half Ecuadorean. I should not have to prove my ethnicity to anyone. I know who I am,” she says.

She is a 31 year old woman with a career that's going incredibly well, various projects in the works and no regrets as far as her personal life goes, she says.

She does wish, however, that she and her father were reconciled.

“I’ve talked about how rough things were for me and I’m sure he’s heard it. He can’t be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch… I’m 31 years old now. Maybe it’s time,” says the star.
