Christina Aguilera was just one of the many celebrities who rallied for a benefit gala meant to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Above is her performance, which was live and, as expected, jaw-dropping.

Put together by NBC, the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together special was hosted by Matt Lauer, with all the proceeds from donations going straight to the Red Cross to help those in need.

Christina Aguilera performed her moving – and very appropriate – “Beautiful” ballad, but not before saying that she too lost a lot of things in the hurricane, having been born in Staten Island, which was devastated by Sandy.

Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige and Billy Joel also performed, as did many other top acts.

If you’re looking to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy, here’s where you can donate.
