It was only a matter of time before reports of this type emerged online and in the written press: despite doing her best to project a good image of herself on NBC’s new show The Voice, Christina Aguilera is an annoying diva behind closed doors and has even taken to publicly ripping into Lady Gaga.

After a very strong premiere, The Voice established itself as a winner: the concept of the show is new (aspiring singers are chosen based on their voice alone through blind “auditions”), and the judges panel makes it interesting to watch.

However, while the four judges (Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Aguilera) seem to get along wonderfully on the show, the reality is another behind closed doors, argues a new report in InTouch Weekly, as cited by Perez Hilton.

The point of the matter is that Aguilera is being a diva and, as such, she’s making things very hard for everyone else around her, the report argues citing the ever-present but never-named “inside” sources.

“According to well placed sources on the show and friends of the singer, ‘she’s taken “difficult” to a new level’ with ridiculous demands and over-the-top diva behavior,” Perez writes.

One of the demands that Aguilera makes constantly is that she watch on the spot every scene shot that she’s in – and then she asks to have it reshot if she doesn’t look good in it, or if she thinks she looks “too fat,” says the report.

Understandably, this is making things unbearable for the rest of the crew – and Adam Levine is the first to tell it like it is to Christina, for which reason tensions are running very high on the set.

“Because of this, the crew has really started to rally around ‘cool guy’ Adam as much as possible, while Xtina is being considered ‘prissy’ and the ‘crew can’t stand her’,” Perez says, citing InTouch.

And there’s more: apparently, Christina is also going public with her dislike of Lady Gaga, to whom she was compared a lot when her “Bionic” album came out.

“Christina told a contestant she was 10 times better than Gaga, said her rival was annoying – and expressed her amazement that Gaga ever got famous. It caused quite a scene, and producers insisted on reshooting the segment,” a set insider tells the National Enquirer, the print issue (story via here).

As of now, Christina hasn’t made any comment on either of these stories. Knowing her, she probably never will, so fans are to take the above with a grain of salt.
