14 DAY TRIAL // Christina Aguilera is one of the biggest divas in showbiz: even if you don’t believe all the reports making the rounds about her, there are accounts from fellow celebrities who attest that she’s not too nice in real life. At this point, even Xtina is embracing her strong diva game, just like Mariah Carey has also been doing for years.
She may be owning up to this side of her public persona, but that doesn’t mean it goes away when she’s working. The people she’s working with right now, shooting a cameo for ABC’s “Nashville,” could actually speak to the contrary, Star Magazine says.
Xtina wants to be treated above everyone else, no one likes her
According to sources on set, Christina flew to Nashville to shoot the cameo, but she forgot to leave her LA attitude at home, because the moment she set foot down she started acting as if she was the hottest thing since sliced bread.
Apparently, Christina wants a bigger options range for her outfits for the cameo, she’s brought along 3 hairdressers (who are to be paid by the studio) because she believes one is simply not enough in the Nashville weather, and she’s even demanding that she be given shoes with the highest heels.
That last part makes a bit of sense, since she’s famously short: Christina Aguilera measures only 5’ 2” (1.57 m) in height. Presumably, she doesn’t want to appear the shortest, even though she might be in reality.
Even if partially justified, her diva demands and attitude aren’t winning her any new fans, and the problem is that she has to get along in order to work well with these people. She started on the wrong foot, because no one likes her.
“Everyone else on set is very down to earth,” says the spy. “Hopefully Christina won’t alienate herself.” It might be too late for that.
Aguilera has also been acting up on The Voice
Diva reports aren’t new where Christina is concerned. In fact, just earlier this month, one particular glossy claimed to have it on very good authority that she was already causing a lot of trouble on The Voice, where she returned as judge / mentor for another season.
She hates Adam Levine and is constantly fighting with him, she’s always late and doesn’t even apologize when she does manage to get to the studio for tapings, and she’s very rude to everyone, from contestants to fellow judges and particularly staff.
As of the time of writing, Christina hasn’t said anything on either report, but seeing how similar rumors have been around for years and she never addressed them in any way, there is really no sense in hoping she’ll do that now.
