The (rumored) feud between Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga goes back at least two years, when the former was still promoting her album “Bionic.” Even though not much was heard of the feud in recent months, it doesn’t mean that it, somehow, magically went away.

At least not on Christina’s part, Star Magazine writes in its latest print issue (story via CB).

Insiders tell the mag that the singer, who is now promoting a new album, “Lotus,” passionately hates Gaga and even refers to her behind closed doors as “the beast.”

Gaga didn’t do anything to Christina in particular, but she (Christina) is usually threatened by powerful women, especially if they have the potential to be more successful than she is in certain areas.

“As a coach on The Voice, Christina Aguilera claims to be all about woman power and sisterhood. But in real life, Star learns that she’s fuming with jealousy over Lady Gaga’s new perfume, Fame,” Star writes.

“Christina is threatened by any successful woman, but Gaga really gets under her skin. Christina’s fragrance line is her baby, and she’s extremely territorial – especially since her album sales have tanked,” the insider says.

She would probably never confront Gaga, but that’s not stopping her from calling her a “beast” – and no, not in a good way.

According to another spy, what riles Christina more is how wrong she was when she predicted Gaga would only last about 15 minutes on the scene.

“When Gaga first arrived on the scene, Christina predicted she’d be a one-hit wonder. It drives her crazy that she was so wrong,” the tipster dishes for the mag.

“Christina can be really low-class and has been saying she wants to kick Gaga’s [backside]! They could easily end up at the same party, especially with the holidays coming up. Things could really get out of hand,” the spy adds, predicting the worst.
