Singer had feminine problem or a bad case of “the Fergie,” reports claim

Christina Aguilera is again at the receiving end of harsh criticism, after her appearance and performance at Etta James' funeral. It's not the singing that's criticized, though, as the photo below can confirm.

This is just one of the many pictures that are making rounds online, with voices claiming the diva has just embarrassed herself beyond redemption.

As we also noted earlier today, Christina spoke a few words and then performed at Etta James' funeral, which took place over the weekend.

She sang “At Last,” one of the most popular love songs of the late diva, putting her own spin on it and making it soar like no other.

Video of the performance is below.

While nothing out of the ordinary is noticeable in it, photos taken on the same occasion show that Christina had some kind of emergency on stage – when liquid trickled down her legs and she tried to wipe it off by rubbing her legs together.

We will not go into details of what might have happened, but we will say that, at the moment, there are two theories making the rounds – and neither puts the singer in a favorable light.

While this “debate” rages on (especially on social networking websites), Christina's fans are also becoming increasingly vocal, saying that these accidents can – and perhaps do – happen to others as well.

Perhaps every woman seeing photos of Christina has been embarrassed at least once in her life when she was taken by surprise by “that time of the month,” they say – so it's no laughing matter that it happened to her too, especially during such a public outing.

Even if that's not the case and she simply pulled “a Fergie,” it's still not something we should poke fun at, they say.

This terribly embarrassing incident aside, Christina is also getting a mixed reaction for her actual performance, with fans praising her for her powerful voice, and non-fans arguing that she could use a little bit less screaming.

Below is the video – you judge for yourself.
