The toast made by Jordan Bratman, Aguilera's groom, at the wedding dinner rehearsal last Friday, has shocked the audience.

He reportedly stood up and asked guests to raise glasses and drink in honor of his parents, who - and this is when people choked without even drinking - gave him "good looks and large p***s". The informal atmosphere at the rehearsal, and all the tension accumulated during preparations for the wedding definitely contributed to Bratman speaking up loud such a joke.

According to America's New York Daily News, Christina simply smiled and nodded in agreement. Her quiet deference, says the publication mentioned above, fit in perfectly with the Japanese motif of the dinner - the Auberge du Soleil restaurant looked like a teahouse, with geishas and a koto player.

The next day, the two tied the knot in a romantic sunset ceremony at a Californian vineyard, where Christina changed the kimono with a Christian Delacroix veil and gown. The singer took care to announce fans in advance that her dress will be conservative.

She had said:
"Don't expect the sort of stuff that hangs off me when I'm on stage. I want white and kind of traditional".
