Christian Slater, the Hollow Man

Christian Slater, last seen in the direct-to-video offering "Churchill : The Hollywood Years", will star in "Hollow Man 2", sequel to Paul Verhoeven's 2000 film, starring Elisabeth Shue and Kevin Bacon.

According toi The Hollywood Reporter, "Hollow Man 2" is being produced by Red Wagon's Douglas Wick, David Lancaster and Vicki Sotheran. The story revolves around a Seattle detective and a biologist who are on the run from a dangerous invisible assassin gone rogue as well as the government forces that created him.

Slater's volunteer soldier/assassin going mad after he turns Bacon-like invisible, and other invisible guy, who is to be portrayed by Peter Facinelli, is set to stop him.

The cast of the Claudio Fah - directed movie also include Laura Regan ("They") and William MacDonald ("Slither").
