14 DAY TRIAL // Christian Slater is getting ready to walk down the aisle for the second time in his life after pleasantly surprising his fans with news of the engagement during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show.

Slater confirmed the happy news, after which he launched into an elaborate description of the first time he and Brittany Lopez met, when he erroneously thought she was gay.
That was in 2009, as he was having breakfast in his “usual spot” on Little Palm Island in Miami.
“This girl came walking along with another lady, a slightly older lady. I was sitting in my usual spot, eating my oatmeal that morning – and this spot was famous for people proposing to each other – and the next thing I know she gets down on one knee and proposes to this older lady,” Christian told Fallon.
“She was making a joke, and I witnessed it, and it intrigued me, and the next thing I know we were hanging out in the Everglades,” he added afterwards.
He wouldn’t offer more details about Brittany or on the wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple!
