14 DAY TRIAL // Christian Bale is one of the most dedicated Method actors out there, having already put his body through hell (and back) to get in the right shape for a role. He’s at it again, by the way.
His most recent theatrical release was Chris Nolan’s final chapter in the Batman saga, “The Dark Knight Rises,” which came out last year. Bale was incredibly fit in the role of the caped crusader, as you must remember.
These days, he’s looking like he’s piled on the pounds and it must be for a new movie role. Seeing how, in between movies, Bale is usually toned and healthy looking, the logical conclusion can only be that he’s gained the weight for the new film.
Several media outlets point out that Bale is now shooting in Boston for an Untitled David O. Russell/Abscam Project.
“An FBI sting operation in the 1970s called Abscam leads to the conviction of United States Congressmen,” reads the brief synopsis of the movie, which also stars Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper.
