Chris Taylor Admits Wildman Is a Long Shot

Video game developer Chris Taylor of Gas Powered Games admits that the company’s current project, Wildman, is now a long shot for funding via Kickstarter and that the future of the entire studio hangs in the balance.

Speaking in a video interview for Evil Avatar, Taylor says that the recent layoffs at his company have affected the project, which is at the moment just about one third funded with another 18 days to go on Kickstarter.

Wildman is a mix of role-playing game and real-time strategy, which allows players to revisit certain periods in humanity’s history and then defeat enemy armies in order to get access to new abilities and upgrades.

Gas Powered Games is best known for the work it has done on Supreme Commander and on Dungeon Siege.
