Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes is not a Taylor Swift fan. Not only that, but he also thinks her merits in the industry have been greatly exaggerated, saying she’s “horrible.”

Despite the fact that Swift is currently one of the best selling pop artists (as well as the best selling country performer) and that she’s enjoying the support of an incredibly large fanbase, Robinson sees her as a fake.

Without the least provocation, the rocker put Swift on blast in a recent interview cited by AceShowbiz, saying in more or less words he was sick and tired of hearing of her.

She’s pretty, but that’s as far as her “accomplishments” go, Robinson says. In fact, even that is not her own doing as she has an entire team of stylists and experts making sure she always looks her best.

As for her music, well, it’s best not to get Robinson started on that because he simply doesn’t see what the fuss about her. She’s just “horrible,” he says.

“I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” the rocker says.

If it’s any consolation for Taylor Swift’s fans, she’s not the only one Robinson can’t stand: most current pop artists are products of a computer, he says, therefore he refuses to listen to their music.

“They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same...” he goes on to say.

What’s troubling him is that, where a computer / machine comes in to do man’s job, there is no individuality, everything sounds and looks the same, which also applies to Taylor Swift, the rocker believes.

“When you have computers doing it all for you... there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality,” Robinson adds.

So far, Taylor Swift has not responded in any way to Robinson’s harsh words – in fact, knowing her and how her image is handled in the media, chances of that happening are slim to none.
