The Canadian astronaut has a series of instructional videos like this

Astronaut Chris Hadfield has plenty of free time, apparently being on the ISS is much like being on a vacation.

So he's been putting out "instructional" videos on how to accomplish everyday tasks in space, things like cooking or clipping your nails.

Because even clipping your nails is exciting in space. Now, he's got a new video explaining how astronauts brush their teeth in space.

The video is actually quite interesting, the way the water sticks to the toothbrush but still floats around is surreal, though nothing out of the ordinary in zero gravity.

If you're wondering what you do with the used toothpaste and how you clean your toothbrush after you're done, well, you'll find out in the video, but you probably won't like it.

Still, all of this is going to come in very handy on your next trip to space as long as you remember to pack a toothbrush, of course.
