14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after the incident that broke them up and made them tabloid fodder, rumors broke that Chris Brown and Rihanna were still dating. They circulate to this day – and have just been confirmed by paparazzi shots.
Some time ago, Rihanna sat down with Oprah for an interview about how the Chris Brown assault changed her life and made her reconsider her stance on love and what she wanted from a man.
It was then that she first publicly admitted to still loving Chris and still being on good terms with him: friends for life, as she put it in more or less these words.
TMZ has photos that now confirm that they are, in fact, more than friends.
“Rihanna and Chris Brown aren't even trying to hide anymore – 'cause they were apparently getting cozy at the Jay-Z concert tonight and, based on Twitter, everyone in Brooklyn saw it,” the celebrity e-zine writes.
“A pic taken from behind RiRi and Chris at Barclays Center is burning up the Internet – they're seated in VIP... he's on the left, she's on the right. No physical contact – in the photo, anyway – but Chris' right arm is stretched around the back of Rihanna's chair,” the same media outlet notes.
Granted, the two have not made a secret of being on excellent terms, even kissing in public on the mouth at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012.
There is something though that makes this new piece of evidence of “friendship” more telling, TMZ goes on to say.
“This reunion comes the night after Chris and Rihanna were spotted at the same table in an NYC nightclub,” the e-zine writes.
Fans must know that Chris and Rihanna broke up in 2009, when, in the midst of a verbal spat, he became aggressive, hitting her several times, smashing her head against the car’s dashboard and even biting her.
It seems that love truly conquers all – or is simply blind.
