As promised, Chris Brown was on The Today Show to perform as part of Today’s Toyota Concert Series, much to the delight of the fans who had waited for hours for such an amazing chance. You can see his entire performance here.
The R&B star, true to form, brought along a troupe of backup dancers but, perhaps in a bid to silence critics, also sang live, with just some help from (the ever present these days) Autotune.
The performance included a medley of his own hits, including “Turn Up the Music,” “Don’t Wake Me Up” and “Forever.”
Brown’s latest studio material is called “Fortune” and will be out in music stores on June 29.
