It's yet another legal vote for troubled singer Chris Brown who lately has seen more of the inside of a courtroom than the inside of the studio. Brown was just slapped with another lawsuit, this time by the man he allegedly punched five months ago in an altercation in Washington DC.

The man's name is Parker Adams, and according to TMZ, is suing Brown for $3 million (€2.1 million) because he says he was punched in the face by Brown as well as his bodyguard in October. After the scuffle, Adams emerged with a broken nose outside the W hotel in Washington DC.

The final tally is divided between Brown and his bodyguard, as Parker is demanding money from both: $1 million (€728,661) from Brown, $1 million (€728,661) from his bodyguard, and an extra $500,000 (€364,331) from each one for punitive damages.

The whole incident is said to have been sparked by the fact that Adams tried to “photobomb” Brown while he was having his picture taken with some fans. Brown claims that this isn't the way it happened at all and he's willing to testify in court.

The singer claims that the man he punched was actually trying to strongarm his way onto his tour bus. Brown has several other assault cases pending against him and even at the time of the attack in Washington, he was on probation for a 2009 assault on his then girlfriend, the singer Rihanna.

At the moment, Brown is attending a rehab program to treat his anger management issues and its outcome could mean the difference between going to prison for violating parole or staying a free man.

Judges were reluctant to sentence him to jail time after his legal team reported that he was making good progress on his anger management with medication and rehab treatment.
