Chris Brown and Rihanna have been more off than on in recent months and, according to a new series of tweets on their personal feeds, things aren’t about to change anytime soon.

According to Too Fab, it all started with Rihanna posting a photo on Twitter and Instagram hinting that she and Brown weren’t together anymore and, more than that, that he was to blame for things not working out.

“If I drop all my [expletive]s for you and we still don’t work out, you owe me some [expletive]s,” the pic reads.

It’s unsure what Rihanna means by the word we can’t reproduce here, but which is slang for “woman,” and whether she’s referring to her friends or women she could have dated had she not committed to Brown, as the aforementioned e-zine also points out.

However, in a matter of minutes, an equally cryptic message popped up on Brown’s feed, which further fuels speculation that this aren’t just random quotes but messages whose recipient only understands them fully.

“She’s not mine if she’s everybody else’s,” Brown tweets, possibly hinting that Rihanna has been cheating on him, which is why they didn’t work out.

Even assuming the two were actually feuding online with these comments, it’s not like they haven’t been through this before, as their fans must know.

Every time they broke up, it didn’t last for longer than a couple of weeks so, if their track record is any indication, they should be back together in the blink of an eye.

Fans must also know that Chris and Rihanna also dated in the past, back when they didn’t have Twitter to air their dirty laundry.

The romance came to a sudden and very violent end when, in 2009, in a fit of rage, he beat her bloody and threatened to throw her out of a speeding car.

Both Rihanna and Chris swear that he’s a changed man today but whether they’re made to last as a couple is still to be determined.
