Chris Brown Investigated for Attempted Murder

New reports are coming in related to the Chris Brown – Rihanna alleged February 8 domestic violence case. If, until now, the 19-year-old singer has been investigated for assault and making terrorist threats against girlfriend Rihanna, the DA could easily slap him with an attempted murder charge as well, sources from inside the LAPD are saying to E! The case has already been sent back to the police once, when the DA reportedly asked for more evidence against Brown. There is an issue, though, with slapping him with an attempted murder charge, the same sources are saying, since the DA will not pursue such a high-profile case if the evidence is “faulty,” as it is now. At the same time, since the only two people who can shift the balance one way or the other are Chris Brown and Rihanna themselves, and both are refusing to talk, this could drag on indefinitely, several media outlets are pointing out.

The incident in question took place on February 8, as Brown and Rihanna were driving home from a party. While it is not yet sure what sparked the fight, it is believed to have started when Brown received a text message from a woman asking him to meet her later for drinks. Rihanna was reportedly so upset by it that she took the keys out of the ignition and threw them out the window, which made Brown fly into a rage.

Reports have it that he lashed out at his girlfriend, pounding her with his fists, biting her and choking her until she passed out. At the same time, reports have it, he threatened to kill her, which would constitute grounds for the terrorist threat and attempted murder charges, it is being said.
