Chris Brown is letting his temper get the best of him again, if reports online are accurate. He and fellow singer Frank Ocean got into a rather nasty brawl outside a recording studio in Los Angeles over a parking space, it has emerged.

The incident occurred only a few hours ago as Brown was leaving the studio, where he had listened to the recordings of one of his protégés, E! News reports.

Ocean was just pulling in the parking lot and, according to eyewitness account, the moment they saw each other, sparks flew.

The fight broke over the parking space, with Brown throwing the first punch.

By the time police arrived on the scene, all the parties who had taken part in the scuffle had left, so there were no arrests made and no charges pressed.

However, an investigation is now underway which, if it finds Brown guilty of assault, could see him charged and sentenced to prison, especially considering his prior with Rihanna in 2009.

“The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirms to E! News that Breezy is currently being investigated for allegedly assaulting someone on Sunday, but has not disclosed the victim's identity,” E! writes.

Other media outlets have confirmed that the victim was Frank Ocean, with the singer himself saying this much on his Twitter page.

“Police reportedly responded to a call alerting them to an altercation between six men at a location along Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood,” E! writes.

As Ocean puts it, it was Brown and his people who made the first, presumably unprovoked move.

“Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. Lol. cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys,” Ocean wrote on Twitter.

The “feud” between the two artists seems to go a long way back, to the time when Frank came out as gay and, when asked by reporters what he thought about it, Chris said something along the lines, “Man, no homo.”
