Never criticize one of Chris Brown's performances, even if it's to state the obvious, that he occasionally turns to lip-syncing, especially when he has a more challenging routine to perform. Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen found out the hard way.

Chris Brown performed at the 2012 Billboard Awards, but certain parts of the song were obviously lip-synced, as Pink and her husband Carey Hart also noted the other day.

Chrissy Teigen also noticed that, so she took to Twitter to say so. “Why sing when you can dance?” she wrote.

She did not name any names, but Chris Brown's fans immediately realized whom she was talking about and they didn't waste a second in attacking her in the most foul-mouthed, vile manner on the social networking website, TMZ reports.

“all you do is talk [expletive], you need to be raped and murdered,” one fan wrote. “killyoself [expletive] ur nothing but tall thats why you model. your nothing,” added another.

Other fans wrote to let Chrissy know that the world would have been a better place if her mother had aborted her, while others wished her to “just die.”

“I wish George Zimmerman woulve shot ur annoying [expletive] instead of poor Trayvon Martin,” another Twitter user wrote.

Casey Anthony's name was also brought up, with some telling Chrissy she should have been in Caylee's place.

Faced with such an unprecedented wave of bile, the model tweeted that she would not respond to any of those fans who use such language.

“Reallllly makes me sad that 99% of the most disturbing comments come from young girls. I'll end it there but it make me sad. I have some screen caps. And I will do everything I can to make sure people know, internet or not, you CAN'T say this [expletive],” she wrote.

Chris Brown too intervened to help matters come to a less hateful end, but he also told his fans that hating on a hater like Chrissy turns the hater into a victim.

“Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y'all bout that life but it's the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims! And that only furthers their pointless existence!” he wrote.
