By now, it's a known fact that Chis Brown has an anger management issue and that he often gets in trouble that sees him faced with legal issues. This is the main reason why now that he's been released from jail for violating parole, the singer is keen to stay indoors, as a means of avoiding controversy.

That might not actually be a bad idea since he's still got another case pending for the assault of a man in Washington last year, outside the W hotel. It looks like the 3 months he's spent in jail taught him a valuable lesson and the singer is ready to turn over a new leaf.

Speaking to HollywoodLife, an insider claims that “He’s doesn’t want to put himself in situations that have the potential to get him caught up in some trouble. He’s still working on his anger management issues and taking his medication, and the best thing to do is to be away from people.”

Interestingly, the singer still feels that he was cheated in the case of the Washington attack, since he wasn't at fault. He claims that he was just defending himself when he punched a man in the face. That same man is now suing him and, considering Brown's previous record, it's not looking good for him.

“Just like in D.C., when Chris [Hollosy, Chris Brown's bodyguard) was trying to protect Breezy as he's paid to do, Chris [Brown] wound up getting in trouble for something he didn’t do, and that caused him to go to jail,” says the source.

The conclusion is that “If his own bodyguards can’t protect him, he better stay in the house.” But don't feel too sorry for him though, because Chis reportedly enjoyed himself with a big homecoming party put together by girlfriend Karrueche Tran, at a nearby friend's house.

He was genuinely surprised when he arrived at the party and gushed to the people attending: “I just want to thank everybody for coming out you know, I wasn’t expected all this for real. This made my day and I just really want to express how much I love everybody in here and especially my girl Karrueche who’s just, my everything. I love you babe, so much, I love you.”

Sounds like Chris is doing his best to stay on the straight path, but, unfortunately for him, he's not out of the woods yet and, if the judge finds him guilty of assault in the Washington case, he could be going back to jail for a significantly longer time.
