14 DAY TRIAL // Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have been dating for a long while, going back to a time when Chris would still occasionally hook up with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Since then, they have broken up several times – but the latest is perhaps the nastiest because they’re both attacking each other in public and on social media.
It all started with Chris’ performance at Power 106’s annual Cali Christmas concert in LA the other night, when, as you can see in the video below, he took to the stage to proclaim that he was a single man, so “[expletive] that [B-word].”
Things went downhill from there.
Karrueche is sick of being “mistreated”
The moment video of Chris’ comment was posted online, people began speculating on the relationship between him and Karrueche and whether they had had another nasty fight, which, apparently, isn’t that uncommon with them.
Karrueche didn’t leave fans guessing for far too long, posting a message on her Instagram about how she’s a much stronger woman, and as such, she’s looking to be loved properly and not be “mistreated” by someone who only claims to love her.
She doesn’t say what she means by that word, but seeing how Brown’s legal problems began when he beat up Rihanna so badly he put her in a hospital in 2009, having people read between the lines was probably her intention.
She makes it clear though that, even though she’d been a fool before to go back to the man who did the “mistreating,” she won’t be making the same mistake again. So, in her own words, the split is for good – and at the same time, it’s all on Chris.
Chris fights back, accuses Karrueche of cheating
Hold up a minute! In a post on his Instagram page, which has been deleted since (a screencap is available in the gallery below), Chris fights back, saying that Karrueche is out to portray him as the bad guy in the split only because she’s looking to cover up the fact that she’s been sleeping around on him.
When Chris was in prison for almost 4 months for parole violation, she only visited him once because she was too busy making frequent trips to Canada to party with rapper Drake.
If you haven’t been keeping tabs, Chris and Drake have been at it for years, with the feud being at first professional and then deeply personal. If it’s true that Karrueche slept with Drake, she is Chris’ second girlfriend to do so, because Rihanna also had a fling with him.
In the same, now-deleted Instagram post, Chris hints that he too was accused of cheating, but defends himself by saying that Karrueche was ok with it at first, so she has no reason to act all offended now.
After deleting the post, Chris posted a photo with himself and famous reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, sitting in his lap. Useless to say, if he’s looking to start dating again, he won’t be single for too long: judging by the screaming in the video below, the ladies love him. A lot.

Once you find strength within yourself, it's hard to allow any type of bs around you. I refuse to be repeatedly mistreated especially by someone who claims to love me. That's not love. And if that's what you define as love then I don't want it. Yes, I have not been so smart before in the past but I made a promise to be a better and stronger woman and I'm keeping that promise. If you can't love me the right way, then don't love me at all. Don't be mad at me because I prefer to be happy. Keep love in your life folks. Not just love between people but love within your HEART, flowing in all aspects of your life. I promise life is so much better ❤️
