Chocolate Case Makes the iPhone (Almost) Eatable

Ever wanted to dress your iPhone in chocolate? If the answer is "yes", "maybe" or "hmm", then here's your chance: a chocolate case for iPhones has recently been launched. Now, before asking yourself how chocolate and a mobile device can mix without the latter getting dirty, you should know that the new case is not actually real chocolate.

It's just a silicone protective case that has the shape of a chocolate bar made out of 24 "pieces".

Called "Homade ChocoCase", the new case is sold by GizFever and costs 29.99 USD. For this amount of money you also get a screen protector for your beloved iPhone, so that full protection can be assured.

When put on an iPhone, the ChocoCase makes the device look quite weird. Not to mention that it also makes it bulky, despite the fact that, when naked, the iPhone is a very slim device. Sure, all the protective cases make handsets look bigger, but the ChocoCase is indeed worthy of its name and turns the thin iPhone into a fatty.

Anyway, chocolate-loving users in need of a protective case for their iPhone will probably like the Homade ChocoCase. After all, protecting your device is very important and if you can do it with a case that fits your taste then it's even better.

Unfortunately, the ChocoCase is only compatible with the first generation iPhone, hence the iPhone 3G cannot be dressed in it. That's because the new iPhone has a slightly larger case (115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 millimeters) and also more rounded margins. But worry not, I'm sure that, after iPhone 3G gets to be available for purchase (starting July 11), there will be a chocolate-like protective case for it too, as 3G and GPS are surely worth being protected.
