Since there is no question regarding who will play James Bond in the upcoming movie, the attention of the press and the casting speculation is turning towards the bad guy for this one. That is, until the Bond girl rumors are going to start popping up.

But for now, we have to make do with the casting on the villain. Variety claims that inside sources from the movie production process have already chosen their favorite and he is Chiwetel Ejifor, the actor that starred in last year's Oscar-winning drama “12 Years a Slave.”

Now, he's set to take on the part of the Bond baddie, which in the extremely successful “Skyfall” has been played by Javier Bardem. At the moment, the insiders claim that an offer has not been made and the scheduling details haven't been worked out, but they insist that the studio and the producers see him as a front-runner for the job.

The rest of the cast is made of Daniel Craig who will return as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes who takes on the role of M, Ben Whisaw who takes the character of Q in a whole new direction, and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny.

Sam Mendes, the director of “Skyfall” has agreed to return for another movie and is keeping an extremely tight lid on things. That's why we are unable to offer you any plot details at this point.
