Chip Countering Mobile Radiation Developed By Omega Pharma

Although scientists have not yet reached a certain conclusion regarding the by now mostly forgotten subject of mobile radiation, Omega Pharma claims that further debate on the subject is useless. Thus, it has developed an anti radiation mobile chip, therefore concluding for all of us that the danger is real.

Further debate on the radiation subject would not be of benefit for anyone, but the question we must ask now is whether a company that sells mostly non-prescription drugs such Omega Pharma can be trusted with reaching said conclusion for all of us.

The chip in question was revealed on Tuesday, right before its launch in Belgium, and it is said to diminish and block as much as possible the radiation a mobile phone seemingly emits. It is also believed to lessen the symptoms this kind of exposure causes.

To offer a more elaborate explanation, the chip supposedly offsets the electromagnetic radiation a mobile emits when in use, and thus, the headaches or loss of concentration, which are supposed to be the symptoms of mobile radiation, are no longer experienced so intensely by users. In addition, this new invention should also cancel the heating effect the body experiences when “bombarded” with electromagnetic signals.

Chief Executer for Omega Pharma, Marc Coucke, said about the sale expectations for this device that, "If we need 10 million, then we'll go for that," although he also added that he was aware that, most likely, the number would be much smaller, at least at first. Coucke went on to say that people needed to realize that the threat was actually real. "It's like smoking. Eventually we reached a point where the health impact is widely acknowledged." he said.

Even though the Belgian company is very confident in the product's success, it is still taking cautionary measures and has only 30,000 of these chips ready so far. However, should the demand be large, the company feels it will be able to easily increase the production for both imports and exports, if necessary. The exports, on the other hand, cannot be started right away, since, according to the company, it will be ready for such actions only in the first months of 2009.
