14 DAY TRIAL // A 20-year-old pre-school teacher from Zhejiang province, in China, posted a picture of herself lifting a boy in the air, by his ears, on popular Chinese networking site Sina Weibo.
Yan Yanhong was immediately fired, after the picture went viral, with many parents complaining about child abuse. The teacher explained that her and her pre-school class "were just having fun," The Sun informs.
However, authorities did not have a sense of humor about this situation. As they browsed through Yan's albums, they noticed that she was punishing children in more than one humiliating way, in front of their classmates.
In one pictures, a child is thrown into a trash bin, in another the trash bin is on a different child's head, and one shocking photograph exposes a practice of taping a little boy's mouth shut, presumably because he was talking in class.
"The kindergarten has been instructed to dismiss the teacher, Yan, and report the matter to local public security,” the local paper reported.
