After numerous US and European celebrities agreed to offer their support to Greenpeace's “Save the Arctic” campaign, it seems both note- and praise-worthy that famous people from the other side of the globe also decided to lend a helping hand to this organization and its commitment to the environment.

Thus, Chinese musician Hu Haiquan also became an Arctic defender just recently and accompanied Greenpeace members in an expedition to this frozen world.

Once here, he could see for himself how human-driven global warming is negatively impacting on Arctic ecosystems, leaving the animal species here to deal with unfamiliar living conditions.

The video now made available to the general public shows exactly what the Chinese musician saw and learned once he reached his destination.

Hopefully, Hu Haiquan's getting involved in the ongoing efforts to create a global sanctuary around the North Pole will help raise more support from China's citizens.
