Tan Chaoyun claims not a lot of people can tell her 6-year-old quadruplets apart.

In order for teachers not to have the same problem, with her children starting school, she took them to the local barber and had numbers shaved on their heads. The first born is obviously number 1, and the others are numbered in the order in which they were born.

This is not the first time this mother of four from Shenzhen, China is put in this situation. In the past, she resorted to ankle bracelets in order to be able to differentiate her sons and not blame one for the shenanigans of another.

“I could only tell the difference between them by having different ankle tags on them before they turned 18 months old,” Tan Chaoyun told ABC News.

Before the numbering, even their father got little Jiang Yunglong, Jiang Yun-Shao, Jiang Yunhan and Jiang Yunlin mixed up.
