A loving father from the Chinese province of Zhejiang has created an amazing Iron Man suit for his 6-year-old son as a birthday present.

Chu Huang has spent a month to hand-make the suit for his son, who is a true superheros fan. He used hand cut plastic sheets to create it and spray painted the separate pieces before assembling them together.

The incredibly life-like suit mimics the Iron Man costume featured in the movie and transforms the loving dad into a literal superhero for his son. The cost of making the armor was merely 300 Chinese yuan ($49 or €35.5), Rocket News informs.

The 34-year-old father works as a doctor and runs his own clinic, so his busy schedule prevents him from spending quality time with his son apart from reading him a bedtime story. He wanted to make up for this lack of time spent together by creating a DIY project that involved both of them.

Given that he had no experience in crafting this kind of suits, he began scouring through the Internet, looking for advice and instructions on how to build the heavy armor. After completing the research, he set out to make the Iron Man costume so as to spend more time with his son.

Huang didn't make an exact copy of the original suit. His version is customized for his son, the most obvious modification being the color choice, as he replaced the red with brilliant gold.

In addition, he painted the Chinese flag on the chest and the yin yang symbol on the palms of the suit.

The little boy was thrilled by the amazing Iron Man suit, and the project has certainly strengthened the bond between father and son. He took photos of his dad wearing the costume and showed them to his classmates at kindergarten, inviting them to his home to meet his superhero dad.
