Chinese Cloud Storage Provider Tencent Gives Out 10TB Free Space

It's only a promotion, however, so you have to hurry up

It wasn’t long ago that it was revealed Baidu and Qihoo 360 put US cloud storage providers to shame by offering a whooping 1TB of free space. Now, another Chinese service ups the game even more.

Tencent is offering 10TB of free space. Yes, you read that right. It’s 10TB!

Of course, there’s a catch. You don’t get the entire batch of space at once. Not that it’s going to be a big issue, since the company says it will top up the storage space as you fill it up, The Next Web reports.

This isn’t a bad idea at all, especially for the company, since not everyone uses up their 10TB in the blink of an eye and keeping up all that space saved up for nothing is just a big waste.

Either way, users need to sign up for a Tencent account and download the latest mobile app. Clicking on the (blue) button on this site will immediately give users access to 1TB free space as a start.

Up to 10TB, Tencent tops up the free storage space automatically.

However, this is promotion, so if you want it, you have to move fast.
