The device should retail online, soon

Wow! Beijing Newman Ideal Digital Technology's MoMo has a strange name, which doesn't remind me of anything at all, although the MoMO part seems to be the funniest of all.

If the name sucks, they could at least try to make up for that by developing a more elaborate design. Its actual one makes the PMP look like one of those cheap Chinese calculators.

Still, besides playing music, the portable device actually works as a map viewer and it can also be used as a still, video and web camera for chatting purposes. When it comes to its capabilities, the device supports AVI and 3GP for videos, MP3 and WMA for audio files, with an extra lyric display, JPEG, GIF, BMP and PNG for images, and TXT for the documents.

As for its design patterns, the MoMo reveals a nice 2.4-inch QVGA TFT LCD (240?320 pixels) and was equipped with a 1.3MP camera, an USB 2.0 port and a slot for MicroSD cards, in case the integrated memory might become insufficient. Not to mention the player was developed to perform some recording of the AVI files, and audio in either WAV or AMR formats through its built-in microphone. What is really surprising about it is the fact that the player allows the user to install NES games in addition to the ones already preinstalled.

Oh, and yeah, if it matters any more, there is an FM radio functionality added to the specs list. About the player's memory capacity, they said it's available in 256MB, 5612MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB, one for any type of music addict. You should also know that all versions measure 88?48x10mm and weigh around 60g a piece. Sadly, there are no pricing and availability details out, yet! All in all, there is nothing to die for about this rather common device.
