China Mobile, the largest wireless carrier in the country, and also the largest in the world by number of subscribers, will bring Nokia’s Lumia 920 smartphone to its network in the not too distant future.

The company has already announced plans to make the move, and the Windows Phone 8 device has recently received certification for use in the country.

The phone will land on shelves as Lumia 920T and has received its China Compulsory Certificate a few days ago, which means that it is one step closer to availability.

However, as UnwiredView notes, it still needs a State Radio Management approval before going up for sale in December.

Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 will arrive in China with support for TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE connectivity, but will pack the same features and capabilities as the international flavor.
