Motorola Mobility and China Mobile have teamed up to offer the RAZR V and MOTOLUXE in the Mainland. Customers can now grab either of the two Android smartphones for free with China Mobile Beijing’s monthly contract for 158 RMB (25 USD or 20 EUR).

Customers who do not wish to commit to a long-term plan can purchase the Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680 for 3,299 RMB (520 USD or 420 EUR) and 1,999 RMB (315 USD or 255 EUR), respectively.

Built on the success of the Motorola RAZR, the RAZR V comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and sports a vibrant 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

The phone is made of the same highly-resistant premium materials, including KEVLAR fiber, Corning Gorilla Glass and splashguard coating.

Also known as Motorola MT887, the smartphone is only 8.35mm thin and is now available in three color options: black, white and pink.

The device features the same hardware configuration as the Motorola RAZR, so expect this one to be equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Motorola MOTOLUXE is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and packs a single-core processor clocked at 1 GHz.

It comes with a large 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution, and MotoSwitch UI.

With Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680, we’ve created the perfect pair of smartphones for stylish, smart and tech-savvy consumers who want great looks, great performance and great value. We are committed to creating devices that are beautiful and powerful, but also affordable. The new Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680 embody that commitment perfectly,” said Frank Meng, senior vice president and president of Greater China, Motorola Mobility.
