New diet pill Capsiplex becomes available today in the UK

Makers of Capsiplex, a weight loss pill based on red-hot pepper extract, say that their product is better than any other of the kind because not only it encourages sustainable weight loss, but it also does so without any side effects whatsoever. According to the Daily Mail, Capsiplex is going on sale today in the UK, having already been used in the US by trainers and celebrities.

The positive results red-hot peppers have in terms of burning the extra calories have already been proven but, as the makers of Capsiplex also say, the problem with them is that no one can eat them in large quantities without upsetting their stomach. They, however, have come up with a patented method of coating the extract in such a way that it causes no irritability to the mouth or bowels. This way, all slimmers can benefit from a pill that helps them burn up to 270+ more calories while exercising than they would without it.

“Trials at the University of Oklahoma showed adults taking Capsiplex burned off 278 more calories before, during and after a bout of exercise than those on placebos. […] The production of the tablet follows years of medical research into hot peppers and capsicum and their benefits to slimmers. Several studies have found that hot peppers and their extracts are a safe option for nutritional supplements aimed at regulating diet,” the Mail writes of the new product. A month’s supply (with one pill a day) costs £29.99, also according to the publication.

The company making Capsiplex also says the new pill comes to offer slimmers’ a viable solution for a boosted process of burning calories. The pill, however, is only meant to work in conjunction with a workout routine and a healthy diet. That is to say, Capsiplex does not promise to do more than it can, by boasting of ridding us of the extra weight without us having to lift a finger in exchange. On the bright side, Capsiplex reportedly has no side effects and no negative impact on overall health.

“For decades, scientists have known about the weight loss potential of red hot peppers also known as Capsicum. Capsaicinoids are a group of compounds which caused the heat found in hot peppers. In fact, over the past 30 years studies including animal and human subjects prove the enormous potential of red hot peppers and Capsicum as a safe and effective nutritional ingredient to support weight management,” reads a fragment on the official website on how Capsicum works in terms of shedding the extra pounds.

more hype to confuse. the only way to lose weight is to eat less

>Kev - actually, eating less will in fact make you put on weight as your body will go into 'starvation mode' and hoard calories. The only way to lose weight is to use/burn more calories than you take in - through a healthy diet and exercise. If these supplements can assist in burning calories as part of a healthy diet, then I don't see how they are any different to vitamin and mineral supplements.

@John King and Craig Wolstencroft: It’s best to see your physician if you know of an existing condition before starting any kind of weight loss treatment, be it with Capsiplex or some other pill. I hope this helps. Best, Elena.

CAPSIPLEX
I am 9 and half stone and 5 ft 2 tall female in my 40s I have been taking this stuff for a week now and it keeps you awake in the night at 4 oclock in the morning I felt like going for a long hard run and felt full of energy this is when taking your 1 tablet at 7. am in the morning It definately gives you energy throughout the day and night my hunger is not so bad now I feel full up with a smaller amount of food I just can't eat my usual amount now but here is the bad news by the end of the day for me it was 4.30pm I had bad tummy cramps and felt I needed the loo so went and discovered I had diarrhea with the feeling of something hot burning my bottom this has been happening ever since I started the tablets the tummy pain stays with you for a couple of hours or more and I also experienced wind it doesn't feel nice at all and at times quite painful, I do see a difference in my tummy fat its looking smaller this pill would be excellent if it wasnt for the horrible side effects my tummy still hurts and I feel as though I need the loo again. I wonder if the side effects persist if I finish the 30 tablets I will let you know. Jen. x

I have had very bad side effects from only taking 8 of the 30 tablets. I have had an upset stomach which I could almost cope with but the burning feeling that you get in your chest and throat is unbelivable FOR HOURS AT A TIME, I have not taken theM now for over a week and the pain still is as bad. I have been to the doctors and have tablets for integestion and an inflammed gut. I think that the Capsiplex has burnt all of my insides,,,,,, I have also had no stop itching all over my body. I have never suffered from any of the above before so aM 90% sure that it was these tablets... DO NOT TAKE THEM!

I've been taking them for 5 days..... I hadn't had any side effects until yesterday, when I couldn't leave the toilet with a really bad tummy!!!!

I havent' had any of the other side effects (like burning) but am afraid they might come with time.... so what i'll do is stop taking them every day and will start taking them only on exercise days (3 times a week), and see if my body can handle it better...

on their defence i am also very intolerant of chillies (every time i have a MEDIUM curry i have to go straight to the toilet, and get really bad skin itching!)

i have been taking these for 3 days....i take one at 7am....do 30 mins on the cross trainer...and then feel so nauseous...this lasts almost all day...i also feel v jittery -- as if i have drunk 3 cans of Red Bull..and as of this eve, i have the skin rash all over my arms...I have decided its just not worth it..im going to keep up the exercise without the pills. The best natural fat burner is grapefruit...so its back to that i go.
