DoudouLinux, a distribution build for children, that strives to make computer usage and other assorted activities a lot more fun and interesting, is now at version 2013-02.

DoudouLinux 2013-02 is the development version of the new 2.0 branch which has been dubbed Hyperborea. The final version of this distribution should be available in May.

Highlights of DoudouLinux 2013-02:

• A new installer that can perform a standard Linux installation has been added, with localization settings (language, timezone, keyboard) and dual boot; • Many video and printer drivers were added; • LiveCD files, the ISO files, can now be booted directly from a USB key, which means Hyperborea will not propose Live USB files anymore. • LiveCD localization settings are now in boot parameters for an easier access.
