The iPod can help your kids at school

An innovation that only brings money to the people behind it but doesn't help the others as much as possible is doomed, in most cases. Just think about atomic energy or morphine, and you should figure out for yourselves that every innovation has good sides and bad sides. But let's leave these considerations behind and get to our Apple gadget called simply "iPod", shall we?

I can't think about any other bad thing about the iPod apart from its price, compared to the other portable MP3 players. Anyway, I can't deny the fact that the iPod beats most of those when it comes to sound quality, battery life and let's not forget about the design! Now, what can be done to use the iPod for learning purposes? No, no, I am not talking about learning the lyrics of Paris Hilton's last song!

Macnn wrote an article a few days ago that almost made my glasses jump from my nose: "iPods help K-12 students take tests". This sounds so good, that it made me dig in a little further; after all, I would buy an iPod right away and go to the University again, if it's going to help me understand all the nonsense that you have to learn for most exams there!

Well, it seems that students with learning disabilities are using the iPod as an educational tool, and the principal of the Louisa-Muscatine Elementary School says the worksheet and quiz scores are really improving, which is absolutely great!

As long as the kids find it better to stay in class and complete their tasks while using the iPod, you would better run and buy them one, if you haven't done it already. I am sure that we all remember how boring school was in our early years, so if you can do something to make this gruesome task easier for your kids, don't think twice!
