14 DAY TRIAL // I've had my fair share of wacky inter-species friendships these past few months, yet the news that a Chihuahua named Fifi is best friends with a python called Bashar really caught my eye.
Not because there is something wrong with inter-species friendships, but because I truly doubt that the snake cares about Fifi as much as she cares for him.
Still, owner Paula Staunton of Merseyside says that the two just love napping together, and that the snake even hugs the Chihuahua every once in a while.
“Fifi even begs me to let Bashar out of his tank so they can cuddle,” Paula Staunton later added.
Not to spoil the romance or anything, but I suggest that Fifi should no longer allow Bashar to hug her once the latter starts packing some more pounds.
