Yet another announcement has emerged in the long line of introductions of products whose release date and price remain unspecified. The latest company to tease its product while withholding these details is Chieftec, which has previewed its mATX case that “guarantees the user complete flexibility at anytime and any-where.” The chassis is designed compact, for space efficiency, while boasting reasonable storage capabilities and a design that allows it to be placed both horizontally and vertically.

The casing launched by the company is known as the Bravo Combi, or CS-03B-B. The product is equipped with an optical drive bay and a dust-proof 3.5-inch bay, which is concealed behind a flap. However, what is most interesting about this computer casing is what lies on the inside. More specifically, the interior of the Bravo Combi features a component mounting frame (CMF) that occupies two thirds of the interior itself. The frame uses a removable design and makes component installation especially easy.

The product measures 440mm x 136mm x 350mm, weighs 5.7 kg and has four expansion slots, as well as two 3.5-inch and an addable 2.5-inch hard drive bay. Furthermore, the chassis is built with an optimized thermal solution that can be made up of two 60mm fans, as well as one 80mm spinner and another one measuring 92mm. In addition, the front panel is outfitted with two USB ports and connectors for audio and mic. A card reader may also be added as an extra accessory and the CS-03B-B is completed by a strong but silent 300W SFX-type power supply, which conforms to EuP specifications.

Unfortunately, as it has already been mentioned, Chieftec neglected to give out any information on the product's price or its official launch date. What is known, however, is that the company will have the case on display at CeBIT 2010.
