14 DAY TRIAL // Child molester Mark McDaniel had better not get very close to his former victim, Anna Cardwell, because he is putting his life at risk. Anna has revealed that her husband Michael always walks with her everywhere and carries a loaded gun with him, especially in case he runs into McDaniel.
In a recent interview with E! News, Anna made the confession that her husband had it out for McDaniel, the man who molested her repeatedly when she was 8 years old and who eventually went to jail for it.
Anna warns McDaniel that her husband is ready to kill him if he comes close
Anna deadpans in her interview with Giuliana Rancic: “Michael would probably kill him, I know Michael,” pointing out that her husband has it out for her childhood molester. The talk was particularly aimed at McDaniel, who has been recently spotted hanging with Chickadee's family.
“He always has a gun on him, cause you never know what will happen,” Anna says, more as a warning than anything.
She then goes on to reveal sickening details about her ordeal when she was younger and about McDaniel, who repeatedly molested her. Chickadee says that McDaniel and Mama June found each other online and then met at McDonald's.
The abuse began when Mama “was mainly at work,” Cardwell reveals, adding that McDaniel abused her in his car “just touching and feeling” but then quickly moved things into her mother's bed.
Anna never revealed her dramas before because she didn't want to hurt her mother
Chickadee explains that she never spoke out before because she never wanted to hurt her mother, but she also adds that she fell into McDaniel's manipulating ways, who warned her not to tell her mother or the police what was going on. “He just told me, ‘Never, don’t call the cops, don’t tell nobody’.”
To this day, McDaniel denies Anna's version of the story, despite the fact that he has already done 10 years in prison for it. Mama June was also inclined to believe him, which is why she picked up their romance after he came out of jail, and even brought her young daughter Honey Boo Boo along, with a flagrant disregard for her safety, since she was allowing her to be around a convicted and registered child offender.
Anna regrets that McDaniel's case never went to trial, because she knows he would have gotten 35 years to life, but thanks to a plea deal, he only got 10 years for aggravated child abuse.
For her part, Mama June still claims that she and McDaniel are not dating again, despite numerous photos making their way online, showing them spending time together house hunting and her buying him a car. Later, it was revealed that the car had been bought with money from Anna's trust fund money.
