Chessmaster Live is part of the famous Chessmaster series that exists ever since the late 80s. With much improved graphics and AI, Chessmaster Live has been developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft on the 20th of January 2008 exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade. It costs 800 MS Points.

The biggest goof made by the developers was the one which allowed white players to hold up a match indefinitely - this had, as a result, a point increase for those who were getting the white pieces, and nervous breakdowns for the blacks. However, Ubisoft Romania eventually developed a patch and things got fixed.

We know that true gamers play all these games just for fun, as they should and not in order to achieve specific point landmarks to prove their friends they are very cool, but we also know that sometimes you just can't live without achieving everything possible with a title you really enjoy.
