Cheryl Cole Spends the Night with Ex-Husband Ashley, Moves Back In with Him

Even though she was the one to file for divorce last year after a media scandal revealed that he had been cheating on her, Cheryl Cole has spent the night with her ex-husband Ashley Cole at their former marital home in Surrey, it has emerged.

Moreover, she is willing to give their relationship another try if that’s what Ashley wants – and he tells her so when he gets back from his vacation.

After the X Factor debacle in the US, when she was fired from the show after just 5 days and without as much as previous notice, Cheryl went into hiding.

She returned to the UK but, because there were too many paparazzi stalking her own home, she decided to move back in with Ashley, the Daily Mail reports, citing sources speaking with News of the World.

Of course, the inevitable happened and the two slept together. The next day, Ashley left on holiday, but Cheryl is still at his place, waiting for him to return.

“They were saying what a special night it was. They were mucking about like old times just playing pool, smoking and having a few drinks,” a friend of the singer and television star reveals.

“There wasn’t any awkwardness between the two of them and they seemed very comfortable together,” the insider says of the reconciliation.

So far, the two haven’t talked about what will happen next, but sources say Cheryl is willing to give the romance another try, if that’s what Ashley also wants and, of course, if he’s willing to change.

“She knew Ashley was going away so it made sense to be there. The spent the night together and got on brilliantly. Who knows what will happen when Ashley gets back from his holiday,” the spy adds.

The Mail also writes that Cheryl has been telling friends she’s thinking of taking some time off from the spotlight to figure out what she wants to do with her life and her career, now that she’s lost all hope to launch a career in the US.
