Cheryl Cole is undeniably one of the hottest female stars on the British scene at the moment. As part of her move to conquer the US as a solo artist, Cole has just released the official video for her latest single “Parachute,” which sees her teaming up with dancing pro Derek Hough and breaking her best dance moves, while still managing to look incredibly stylish and elegant, the Daily Mail says.

The version of the video found on YouTube has been sped up, presumably by the person who uploaded it. Therefore, neither the audio nor the video are this fast-paced but, still, even with this, anyone can see the dance moves are impeccable and that the video is a very accomplished one, for which the singer presumably worked hard. Below is the official, unaltered version of the video. “Parachute” was written by Ingrid Michaelson and Michael Altman and will see official release as a single on March 15.

“The singer, 26, is put through her paces by Dancing With The Stars US star Derek Hough, 24, as they perform a high-energy dance routine. Sporting a variety of vampish looks, including a glamorous 20s style dress with puffed up shoulders, a tie and lace gloves, Cheryl works her way through the carefully choreographed scenes with aplomb. She also wears a revealing white dress, slashed to the waist, as she writhes around on a bed,” the Mail writes of the video.

“In the closing scenes she is surrounded by a group of ten men, dancing her way around each of them in a sassy navy blue dress covered with studs, and studded, fingerless gloves. ‘Parachute’ is the third single to be released from Cole’s debut solo LP ‘3 Words.’ […] The song has already made an appearance in the UK singles charts, charting at number 65 on downloads after the singer performed it on the ITV1 special, Cheryl Cole’s Night In last December,” the publication goes on to say.

Previous video releases included “Fight for This Love,” which pushed her into the spotlight as a solo artist and the title track “3 Words,” a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am. Below is the video for “Parachute.” Enjoy.
