She’s no longer “Britain’s sweetheart.” After being dumped from the judging panel of the US version of X Factor, Cheryl Cole is officially out of a job, as ITV has just announced the new panel for the British version of the same show: and she’s not on the list.

Cheryl was dropped as judge on the new X Factor after just 4 days at the auditions, with many saying producers decided to sack her because her accent was making it very hard for audiences to understand her.

After this happened, she was contacted by ITV and offered her old job back, as judge on the British show, which also made her one of the hottest stars in her country.

She didn’t turn the offer down, as we also reported the other day, but she refused to pick up calls, forcing producers to assume she wasn’t interested and to move on.

“Official: @TheXFactor (UK) judges will be: Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland & Louis Walsh,” a tweet from ITV informs.

In other words, X Factor is moving forward without Cheryl. Even Simon Cowell, Cole’s biggest supporter so far, seems to have turned his back on her, saying the new judges are just perfect for a new season of the show.

“These four are totally up for it, each of them bring a different attitude. They have had a ton of hits between them and they are all committed to finding a star,” Cowell says in the press statement released hours ago.

“I have a feeling Louis and Tulisa will have slightly different points of view as to what the next star should look and sound like!” he adds.

Louis is the only judge remaining of the original lineup.

“I’m delighted to back for my eighth series of The X Factor, it’s my favorite job in the world and I’m really excited this year to work with Gary Barlow and the rest of the new panel,” Walsh says in the same press release.

“I’m the last original judge standing and I’m determined to find an act that can win this year and show the others how it’s done!” he adds.

Until not long ago, Walsh was perhaps the only one still hoping that Cheryl would be back on X Factor.
