Cheryl Cole of the Girls Aloud and X Factor fame is considered one of the most beautiful women in showbiz right now. With her perfect smile, perfect dimples, perfect hair and perfect body, she’s been dubbed the “human Barbie” by the British media, but that’s not to say that she doesn’t believe her looks too can be improved, as the
Daily Mail puts it. First thing on the list: her lips.
The singer was spotted by the paparazzi at the airport the other day and, though she is usually very friendly, this time she tried to cover her face when she saw the cameras. The reason for that was that her lips seemed plumper than before, which could mean she had some work done, perhaps collagen injections, says the publication. Her rep is denying the claims, saying Cole is 100 percent natural.
“It’s usually her revealing outfits with attract the most attention. But this occasion, no garment, however outrageous, could have drawn attention away from Cheryl Cole’s alarmingly oversized lips. The X Factor star’s mouth looked unusually plump as she arrived in London yesterday – prompting speculation that she has used Collagen injections. Representatives of the Girls Aloud singer denied this was the case, saying ‘she has definitely not.’ But Miss Cole was seen trying to cover up her mouth with her hand as she walked through the airport,” the Mail writes.
It’s not so much that Cole might have gotten her lips upped in size, but rather the fact that she would never deny having any work done that got to the British media covering the story. The singer has always maintained that she would never say no to plastic surgery if that’s what it took to make her happy and, most importantly, that she would never deny the obvious. If her swollen lips are the result of collagen injections and she’s denying having work done, then that surely makes her a hypocrite, it is being said.
“I’ve got nothing against cosmetic surgery,” Cole said a while back. “I mean, if someone hasn’t got any [breasts] and having them done is going to make them a happier, more confident person, then go for it. I wouldn’t deny it if I had cosmetic surgery. I wouldn’t just come out with big [breasts] and say, ‘No, I haven’t had an operation!’” the singer added.
