14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Cheryl Cole is really moving on to making a name for herself in the industry, other than that of pop star. Among reports she'll probably get her own fashion show, she's teamed up with L'Oreal to design her own lipstick.
As if that wasn't enough, she also has her very own line of shoes now out in stores, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say her departure from X Factor (both shows, UK and US) has allowed all the creative juices to flow.
Just in time for the festive season, the stunner is coming out with a brand new lipstick called Red Passion – and yes, it's a very fashionable red shade, the Daily Mail informs.
Even better than knowing we have one more red lipstick from a vast variety to choose from is knowing that buying this particular one will help others in need.
One pound ($1.54 / €1.19) for every item sold will go to charity and it is precisely this what made Cheryl jump at the chance of trying her hand out at creating a beauty product.
“I love wearing lipstick as it is makes me feel glamorous whatever the occasion. I chose this iconic luxurious, red shade as it is the perfect dramatic accessory,” she says in a statement cited by the aforementioned e-zine.
“I am so thrilled the funds raised from my L’Oreal Paris lipstick can make a difference to people’s lives through my foundation with The Prince's Trust,” she adds.
She also explains that, when creating the lipstick, she wanted to come out with a product that would be so versatile as to appeal to most women out there, regardless of skin type, age or other products they might use.
“When selecting the shade I chose one I felt would flatter most hair and skin types, and is the red that everyone wants in their make-up bag,” she explains.
Red Passion by Cheryl Cole is already available in the UK at Boots and Superdrug. It costs £8.16 ($12.6 / €9.75).
