On top of the 7-inch tablet recently unveiled, Cherry Mobile has also added an 8-inch offering for Filipino customers looking for a wallet-friendly Android slate, GSMInsider reports.

The larger slate is called Superion Voyager, and this time you know what you’re getting yourself into, display-wise. The slate features 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and boasts two cameras, the 2-megapixels main camera and the secondary VGA one.

Cherry Mobile has added a 1GHz dual-core chipset coupled with 512MB of RAM to fuel the device. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and a G-Sensor. 4GB of storage are provided, but customers can choose to extend it to 32GB via the microSD card.

Like its smaller brother, the Superion Voyager offers dual-SIM capabilities so users will be able to place calls. The device runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box. Cherry Mobile’s offering is compatible with WCDMA/GSM networks.

The slate is available for purchase for the price of Php 4,999 / $116 / €84.
