Cherry Mobile has just unleashed a brand new 7-inch tablet in the Philippines, called Superion Discover Tab. The slate comes at a very affordable price and offers average specifications for the budget consumer out there.

The Superion Discover draws power from a 1 GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and features an unknown resolution, reports GSMInsider. As most mid-range tablets these days, the slate bundles Dual SIM/Dual Standby capabilities, which means users can place calls and text.

Cherry Mobile offers 2 cameras with the model, a 2MP primary one and a 0.3 (VGA) front snapper. The slate supports WCDMA/GSM networks and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G functions are also provided.

The Superion Discover is available nationwide for the affordable price of Php 3,999 / $93 / €67.
