Cherry Mobile has just launched a duo of affordable Android smartphones in Philippines, Titan and Flare. Both smartphones are exclusive to Philippines, so don’t expect these to be available in other countries.

FHM reports both Titan and Flare are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream operating system out of the box and will be available from November for 6,499 PHP (155 USD or 120 EUR) and 3,999 PHP (95 USD or 75 EUR), respectively.

Given its higher price, Cherry Mobile Titan is the better device, so Android fans who want a mid-range smartphone should take this one into consideration.

The Titan is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Aside from the dual-core CPU, Cherry Mobile Titan will surely tempt customers thanks to its huge 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Unfortunately, the phone’s screen only supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The Titan also sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and video recording, as well as secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

The phone is powered by a high-capacity 2350 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. Last but not least, Titan offers dual-SIM capability, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Cherry Mobile Flare is less featured and comes with a smaller 4.0-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports the same 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Surprisingly, the Flare is equipped with a slightly better 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, which is complemented by 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. MicroSD card for memory expansion up to 32GB is included as well.

Other highlights of the Flare include dual-SIM capability, Wi-Fi, 3G, 5-megapixel rear photo snapper, VGA front-facing camera and Bluetooth.
