Chaz Bono, the first transgender contestant on Dancing With the Stars, has been voted off the competition after 6 weeks. While he says he's ok with the public vote, his mother, singer and actress Cher, might not be.

Right after Chaz and partner Lacey Schwimmer were told they would not be returning to the show next week because they didn't get enough support from viewers at home, Cher was tweeting up a storm.

First of all, she wanted to make it clear that she was very proud of how Chaz handled himself, especially when the judges bullied him – and how he danced, given he had zero experience when he went on the show.

“I Have Got 2Hold my TEMPER ! MY Tears R OK ! Congratulations Chaz I'm SO PROUD OF U ! This was YOUR Quest...& u Followed your Star,” she wrote.

However, she didn't want to leave it at that – and also included some words for the judges, whom she accused of being bullies who judged anything about Chaz but the actual dancing.

“But your mom 'could cut a [expletive]' !” she wrote.

“Thank u Carrie Ann 4 your Gentility u r beautiful inside & out ! To the Gentleman?I didn't know who u We're b4 which I guess is a blessing !” Cher tweeted of judge Bruno Tonioli, who most frequently picked on Chaz for his weight.

“Going Home is Fine but why insult him b4 he Goes! Maybe Rudeness & Flapping Arms take the place of TALENT !” she said. “As for the Older Gentleman ....every Show Needs A Grumpy Old Man !” added Cher of Len Goodman.

She then insisted that she only had a bone to pick with the male judges, because Carrie Ann was “beautiful & Polite.”

“Not Gone& I'm Good! Needed 2 Vent ! It Would Have Been Blast if Chaz Stay-ed,But He NEVER Danced b4,so it was a Great Dream 4 a Great Guy!XX” Cher concluded her Twitter rant by saying.

As we also informed you earlier today, after the elimination, Chaz too said he felt “some bias” against him in that both judges and audiences judged him for his weight and gender, and not for his performances on the dancefloor.
