Chelsea Handler on 50 Cent Date: It’s Just Business

A couple of days ago, rumors seemed to finally be confirmed when a photo of 50 Cent and Chelsea on a date emerged. The talk show host now explains the nature of the “romance.”

As we also informed you, the photo in question, though blurry, showed the two sitting together at the same table, acting as if there was more between them than just a platonic relationship.

Before it was taken, 50 Cent also performed with the band at the New Orleans club, and, by the lyrics, he seemed to be making a special dedication to his lady friend, reports said.

However, as it was also pointed out at the time, they may have been sitting so closely because they couldn’t hear each other – they were in a club, after all.

As it turns out, this was precisely the case, with Chelsea telling E! Online that, right now, there is nothing going on between her and the rapper / actor.

“Everyone, calm down. I met with Mr. Cent about a potential project. There’s nothing to report yet, I’ll let you know if there is,” the star says.

However, that they’re not a romantic item at this time doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t be, since Handler is quite sold on the idea, a spy dishes for E!.

“A source told E! News that Handler is ‘open to’ the idea of hooking up with Fiddy, who tweeted earlier today that he was on his way to Los Angeles to discuss a film project,” the e-zine notes.

Shortly after the photo emerged, a report followed, saying that, instead of a relationship (as speculation said), the two had more of a “hookup thing.”

“It’s been going on awhile. It’s more of a hookup thing – whenever they are in the same town,” a spy said for Us Magazine of the two stars, both aged 35.

Chelsea Handler will probably set the record straight once the “business deal” with 50 Cent is finalized.
